Awful but cute. Thats.. really it.
The game features a linear story, where you are offered choices that mean literally nothing (only a few lines of dialogue at the most will be altered). The plot is AWFUL, and I am actually convinced that the images were drawn before the story was made. Nothing makes sense, the personalites aren't very consistent, and the protaginist is such an airhead that the game does nothing for me besides piss me off.
I'll admit at the start I was intrigued. The MC, Kaedo, is a typical stereotype - his father is famous and good at everything, and he doesn't care enough to try. He's moved around to different schools every semester because his father thinks that one will eventually catch on. This school, his teacher thinks that Kaedo would benefit from joining a club, but spends an unreasonable amount of time talking about how the swim club is Bad because of an Incident (gasp) that he refuses to explain, but will continue to be vague about for 5 minutes. And then he asks why Kaedo is so interested in it. My god.
Anyways Kaedo, predictably, joins the club, meets two girls: Mieko, easily angered tsundere, and Hiromi, calm and collected. They both have huge tits and wear patterned undergarmets every day of their lives.
I actually can't remember most of the story, that's how bad it is. Simply being within Kaedo's proximity causes them to get into situations where their panties/boobs are exposed nearly every 5 minutes. The part where they get tanged in the video game wires is so incredibly stupid that I had to walk away for a bit. The MC's reaction to this is to stand and stare, because he's a fucking idiot.
Later it's revealed that Hiromi's mom has cancer and Mieko is sad about her friend that betrayed her (which is the incident with the swimming club. It's stated that everyone realized she was lying, so the teacher's actions make no sense), and Kaedo is suddenly really emotionally mature, for JUST long enough that he can accidently see the girls' private parts again.
Mieko is awful. I hate her. She calls MC a pervert constantly (he is) but then, during a study session in her room, she just. TAKES HER FUCKING SKIRT OFF?? I hate her i hate her i hate her
ANYWAYS eventually they are both like. uwu i like you mc.. they fight over him, MC says he'll date both, etc etc you get it . Of course in between all this they have been training for the national swimming competition, which, despite these being my favorite segments, are so forgettable that I couldn't tell you what happened in them besides for lots of idiocy and boobs. Also there is sex.
They go to the cultural festival, which doesn't even have a seperate background drawn for it (there are probably no more than 10 backgrounds in this $10 game), and they have a 'surprise' planned for MC at the school pool. What is the surprise? Extremely revealing "swimsuits", of course! Hiromi is out of character here, by the way, and then she starts giving the dude a blowjob because why not. Mieko is in one, too, complete with fox ears and a tail. And then another surprise from Hiromi. And then sex on the roof with Mieko, featuring MC's 10 inch dick again. This entire sequence is accompanied by poor excuses to not draw the girls' sprites in more than their default outfits.
After some more drama that I don't care to type out (it's super boring), Mieko and Hiromi face the facts - if they both kiss the same guy, then they will eventually probably kiss each other. They demonstrate this by making out under the water, which is probably the only good part of the entire game. Polyamory Win! They stay underwater far too long, though. Yuri be damned, these two could have drowned!!
And then, the climax of this god-foresaken excuse of a plot.... THE SWIMMING COMPETITION. The girls tie, which was completely expected. Kaedo wins the tournament, of course. He makes up with his dad, etc etc. The end, right?
Right?
..Ah. We have a fanservice christmas scene. And... more sex. I'm not gonna lie, I skipped through it all, but there was a lot of boobs and moaning I assure you. Hiromi's VA was very.. enthusiasic. 0/10.
Anyways, it sucked but I also honestly enjoyed the parts where it tried to be wholesome. I liked Hiromi loads more than I did Mieko, and had the protagonist not been so fucking annoying I would have enjoyed it more. It had potential. Did it live up to this potential? No, it didn't. But it was alright I guess. Pirate it, don't buy it.
